I started to push the card board and give it some force in all the directions to test the balance and durability. Its was all excellence and working well untill I pushed down on the tip of the seat which was when i realised that because of that angle in the front it looses a lot of balance once load has been forced down. This means i had to go back and change it.
There is quite a lot of repetition with the bars and the seat/back rest folding system, the contrast between the dark and light cardboard gives the design some dynamic. When it comes to production time the chair could be produced in many differing colours as the bars are interchangable.
I think with the right lighting and scenery the chair can produce so interesting and abstract shadows. This just excites me more to get to my final model.
